Nona Lim Soups are Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Vegan. Starting with this pouch of soup I can enjoy it as is, or add other ingredients to suit my pallet or dietary needs and preferences. I love that! Easy and tasty either way. The other day my friend and I enjoyed heating, eating, embellishing, then photographing Nona’s delicious soups.
Using 2 pouches of French Onion Soup we simply heated, then poured it into the bowls. We topped it with a slice of baguette and grated cheese, then placed the bowls under the broiler for 3-4 minutes until the cheese was melted and brown. Parmesan or Gruyere cheese are both perfect additions for a traditional serving of this delicious soup.
Our next dish was the All Bean Chili. You can simply heat and eat, as we did (delicious!), or you can add a meat of your choice. Hamburger, buffalo, or chicken would be a great addition. Add spices for heat, or Fritos for decadence (yum!).
Served with a sprinkle of cheddar cheese and a slice of bread, our meal was complete.
Two other pouches that I haven’t yet tried: The Red Lentil Veggie Soup and the Zucchini Soup. Both chock full of vegetables and wholesome broth.
Next time you’re thinking soup, think Nona Lim! Like she says: Real : Simple : Delicious. That’s what cooking and eating should be all about! Enjoy! Click here for her website.
Your soups look delicious! I like that you added so many fresh ingredients to a mix. The French onion soup looked especially good for this time of the year. And the Chili as well! I love autumn cooking!
