By now I thought I’d be opening my own little website full of all the lovely pillows I’ve been making. Life sometimes has a habit of getting in the way so until the website is ready I have turned to the popular Etsy site. Etsy is set up for artists and crafts people as a place to sell their creations. If you’ve never visited Etsy, you’re in for a nice surprise. My eventual site will be like a shop of my own, while Etsy is kind of like going to a great big bazaar or art show. It’s pretty fun.
My signature line of pillows are screen printed from my original hand scripted journals. They are a collection of memories that I consider universal in appeal. The pillow above is a list of wonderful Christmas thoughts and feelings. I decided I needed to include companion pillows and I think the ones above compliment my design nicely.
My beach collection is fun and fresh in cool blues and whites. The hand scripted pillow tells the simple story of a perfect day at the beach, from jumping the waves to feeling the sand between your toes. The companion pillows complete the set, bringing just a little bit of the seashore into your home.
The Day in Paris pillow is such fun. I got creative in the writing and I think it gives quite a flair to the design. It’s screen printed on a wonderful heavy linen and will look beautiful in a variety of home design styles.
All of the pillows are 20 X 20” and will accommodate a 20” square pillow insert, which I’ve included for sale separately on the Etsy site. Shipping costs on the bulky inserts are a bit steep so I thought it might be nice to offer them as an option.
