Bead Sun Catcher- Gift Idea #3

     

These are simple, fun to make gifts or ornaments. Bead shops are full of wonderful collections of beads and all the necessary supplies to make this small gift.

 

I hang my sun catcher in the window to catch the sunlight and often cast a sweet rainbow across the room. Using more typical holiday colors, you’d end up with a lovely ornament for the tree. Make a shorter one (or several) to attach to a gift.

 

You’ll need a large prism, filament, and a couple of crimp beads to hold it altogether. For tools, a long slim needle and a pair of needle-nose pliers. Bead shops are full of people to help. No special classes; this is too simple.

 

Check out your local bead store or dig into your stash. You may already have everything you need to get started.
