I made this twisted cowl that I think turned out quite nice.
I saw the sample made at one of my favorite yarn shops Close Knit here in Portland. I used the recommended Burly Spun yarn and was given the instructions with my purchase. It’s a simple seed stitch (knit, purl, knit, purl…). The only tricky part was giving the whole thing a twist on the first round of stitches. This creates the mobius, kind of a figure eight twist that allows it to drape so nicely.
