I am so pleased to announce the long awaited, often promised, and very grand opening of Janet Brown Studios for all of your pillow needs. While my web designer toiled away creating this beautiful site, I was toiling over my sewing machine, designing fun and wonderful pillows and choosing the freshest, happiest fabrics to stitch into companion pillows.
While I was still waiting, I was encouraged to design wine pillows. These three are the first in my Wine County collection. Each varietal is offered in three different fabric choices. Grey canvas, ecru canvas and classic linen. At 16” X 16”, they are a great size for any home. The different fabrics are fun to mix and match and I have a feeling they will sell rather quickly. I’ll add more wines in time; I can’t wait to do Zinfandel, Pinot Grigio and can you imagine a Champagne pillow for a wedding gift?! What fun!!
My printed pillows are all screen printed from my original designs. I’ve taken great care in the design, construction and attention to every little detail. I’ve had such fun finding just the right words to bring my message to each pillow. As often happens with creativity, one thing leads to another, and I find myself brimming with more ideas than time. It will be fun to see where this all takes me. Stay tuned!
